#4 is the result of a rigorous selection of our 4 best barrels from Nuits-Saint-Georges «Les Plateaux», the first parcel acquired by the Domaine Aegerter in 1994, of a super cie of more than 1ha in one piece.
Soil: Argilo-calcaire
100% Pinot Noir
Harvest: The grapes are cut and sorted by hand.
Vinification: The grapes are destemmed and then placed between 2 and 4 days in stainless steel vats for pre-fermentation maceration. The vinification is done inoak barrels.
Ageing: Ageing in oak barrels for 12 months. Then the 4 best barrels are assembled.
The dress is a cherry red, brilliant.
A nose of black fruits and forest fruits.
The mouth is a little austere but the youth and the breeding will soften. The is dense.
Veal chop à l’Époisses, Duck à la Pékinoise.
Service temperature: between 15°C and 16°C
Ageing potential: Delicious when young, it has a great ageing potential between 10 and 15 years old.
